Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
Deployment of Windows Server (Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, SharePoint, WSUS), Office 365, Windows 10, Azure, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.
Manage all the servers and data centres and perform maintenance as necessary.
Meet user requirements by evaluating and deploying suitable solutions.
Provide quick backup and recovery when required.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of problems.
Perform basic network support as required.
Prepare documents and reports for system implementation and changes to server infrastructure.
Prepare documents for project deployments (planning document, deployment cookbook document, User Acceptance Test document, user manual).
Conduct training on solutions deployed to customers.
Conduct User Acceptance Test on project deployments to verify successful delivery of projects.
Be certified with the latest technology as required by the company or projects.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
Preferable Certification: Microsoft Certified Associate, AWS Certified Associate or equivalent.
Preferable Knowledge and Experience: Windows Server (Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, SharePoint, WSUS), Office 365, Windows 10, Azure, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience on Windows Server, Office 365, NAS and SAN storage, Network monitoring such as Nagios and PRTG, Server migration.
Proficient in performance tuning, capacity planning, and server management.
Self-initiated and proactive team player who can work with minimal supervision.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical and strong troubleshooting capability.
Applicants must be willing to work in Klang Valley and outstations when required.
Required language(s): Bahasa Melayu, English.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
