Location: Petaling Jaya
A fast-growing Medical Communications Agency is looking for a creative medical writer. As a medical writer, you are to draft content for marketing purposes or create technical materials to educate healthcare professionals or consumers. If you are creative, resourceful, able to present and articulate your thoughts into simple language, we would like to speak to you.
Responsibilities:
- Write articles, reports and research discoveries related to the healthcare industry
- Prepare press releases, training materials, e-learning slide decks and marketing content for the pharmaceutical industry or academia
- Ensure that all materials are accurate, trustworthy, and ethical. Fact-check and ensure that materials follow all applicable guidelines and regulations
- Stay up to date on current industry practices
- Managing multiple projects and ensure delivery within given deadlines
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. Masters or PhD will be an added plus.
- Strong writing skills and a solid understanding of medical terminologies. Must be able to effectively translate medical and scientific material, including biostatistics, so readers are able to understand complex terminologies, data, and medical processes
- Attention to detail. Must have the ability to understand grammar and syntax and be concise in writing
- Able to identify relationships between ideas and organizing them into a logical sequence
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and BM.
- 2-3 years working experience in a medical communications agency or medical affairs in a pharmaceutical company
