Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of course execution as well as the continual growth of customer relationships plus providing additional support to the operations and marketing team. Work activities may vary across the various entities under the group.
As the Events Lead:
- Course Execution: Oversee and lead course execution from start to finish (there are responsibilities before, during, and after a course). For example:
- Preparing venues (event halls, classrooms ..etc) for onsite courses by setting up the room, laying out course materials, laying out food and beverages, and tidying up.
- Liaising with speakers to assist in preparation of their slides as well as completing pre-course surveys.
- Running onsite/online courses and events by greeting the speaker/s and students as they arrive and managing course logistics (e.g., hosting Zoom calls, switching slides for speaker/s, recording sessions and collating any changes made during the course).
- Collating course feedback and issuing course certificates to participants
- Course Support: Oversee and lead support responsibilities for course execution. For example:
- Liaising with caterers, hotels, airlines, printers and suppliers to make arrangements for onsite courses (e.g., arranging catering, booking hotels, booking flights, sourcing course materials and arranging for the printing of textbooks).
- Managing and assisting in packing course materials for onsite use as well as for dispatch to online students.
- Managing relationships with vendors to obtain sponsorship for course materials and provide exposure for their brand.
- Providing marketing support for course promotion by posting on social media and email marketing.
- Posting courses on CMS (Content Management System) and managing enrolments.
- Office Support: Variety of office responsibilities which are shared among the operations team. For example:
- Speaking to potential participants, taking enrolments as well as organizing payments and resolving day to day issues across customer service communication channels (e.g., Email, Phone, WhatsApp, Facebook and IG).
- Assist on ad hoc projects, like annual dinners and events, special projects that are allocated etc.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates preferably with working experience in customer service, operations, event management, education or office administration is a bonus for this position.
- Minimum SPM or Diploma holder.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) and email management.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills (English).

- Be willing to work occasional weekends and after hours to manage courses and events (you will receive replacement leave).
