Telesales Assistant Manager

Position Level : Assistant Manager

Location          : Mont Kiara

Remuneration: This role pays up to RM8,000, with commission entitlement

Employment   : Contractual position, 1-yearly renewable basis or convert as permanent

Working days : 5.5 days between Mondays to Sundays

Hours              : 9am – 6pm (full days) | 9am – 2pm (on the half days)

About your new employer:

Our client is an eCommerce company specializing in cosmetics, nutrients, and health supplements. Through a “Tele-direct Sales” business model, the client has a strong business presence in multiple countries in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Your New Roles & Responsibilities:

Reporting

  • Support and manage the daily operations of the Telesales team to meet sales targets and ensure the operations are in line with the company’s objectives and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze the sales data such as the Priorities, Leads Distributions, Approved Rate (AR) & Average Order Value (AOV) gaps, to improve team revenue and ensure resources are properly allocated.
  • Prepare reports of the sales data analysis and ensure that all data are recorded and updated accordingly.

People Management

  • Review telesales agents’ performance, identify coaching needs and planning for coaching sessions.
  • Call monitoring to identify operations performance, suggest process improvement and to minimize errors.
  • Be the enabler to keep up the team’s spirit and to support them in achieving sales targets.
  • Be the next level of support to resolve difficult cases by guidance and directions.

Performance

  • Create appropriate sales scripts/campaigns/promotions info that are attractive.
  • Monitor and execute KPI strategies, ensure the team is on track with the KPI and directions.
  • Evaluate “failed deliveries” cases for sales process improvements.
  • Work closely with the L&D team to develop training materials.
  • Provide input to the senior leadership team on the effectiveness of the current sales strategy and provide necessary improvement suggestions.

Criteria to meet:

  • Candidate should have at least 4-5 years’ experience working in a telesales contact centres, with prior experience of handling a team of 50 – 60 Telesales Agents
  • Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English
  • Prior experience in product consulting or selling experience from the beauty, banking & finance, telecommunications, insurance, online businesses will be an added advantage.
  • Proven records of driving success in the telesales operations
  • Possess good people management and people skills.
  • Energetic, motivating, dynamic, professional.
