Actuarial Manager, Group Reporting (EV)

1. Annual budget exercise.

2. Regular analysis and alert for action on variances, anomalies, inefficiencies

3. Reporting

  • To oversee the monthly business scorecard calculations, including Value of New Business;
  • To oversee Embedded Value (EV) calculations;
  • To oversee the assessments and quantifications under the analysis of change in EV.

4. Credibility, accuracy and adequacy process control of model

  • To ensure the accuracy of the model(s) used for calculating the reporting results;
  • To maintain control and documentation over the models.

5. Governance

  • To ensure compliance with regulatory framework and requirements;
  • To ensure adherence to group reporting standards.
  • To ensure adherence to the Company’s risk appetite

6. Business Strategy and Digital Transformation

  • To provide technical support and provide input required for decision making.
  • To provide opinions/support to other teams that may aid strategy planning.

Requirements

  • Good exam progress from an international recognized actuarial association
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a related role, preferably experience in act
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
  • Actuarial reporting & statistics.
