Job Description
- Oversee multiple projects in all aspects and stages – pre-design, planning, execution, completion & handover, defects & warranty, lastly account closure stage.
- Pre-design stage – study possible development plan and concept, prelim feasibility study, engage reliable consultants
- Planning stage – able to comment on design and give right directions, familiar with authority’s requirement & compliance to ensure a workable plan, ensure all authorities approvals are obtained timely.
- Execution stage – coordinate internal & external resources for the flawless execution of multiple projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. Review the project plans and specifications i.e the building designs, scheduling, possible cost saving measures and potential construction problems.
- Handover stage – ensure completeness of all important documents from external parties, involve in end users dispute, claim back all paid deposits, needed documentation to close development accounts.
- Maintain excellent relationship and relevant networks for dealing with authorities and utility companies.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Delegate project tasks based on subordinates’ strengths, skills and experience levels
- Ensure good filing system implemented and safe keep of all important documents.
- Perform any other related duties or any ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time by the Management.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Project Management /Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant field of study will be an advantage;
- At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and interact professionally with the design professionals, consultants and clients;
- Skilful and resourceful in relationship and network with authorities and utility companies
- Experiences in Project Management. Relevant experiences in construction of high-rise projects may it be commercial, residential, mixed-development etc;
- Experience in delivered of at least 3 project successfully from pre-planning stage to post-construction stage;
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate capability of project management with an all rounded perspective;
- Knowledge of construction contracts, methods and relevant laws, regulations and quality standards, ideally in mixed development projects;
- Competent in conflict and crisis management with experience in managing multicultural teams.
