Salary Range                      : RM 4500- RM 6000

About Your New Employer:

Our client has been in the air freight and express industry since 2008. Through their extensive network around the world, they are able to support their customers with Export, Import, Airfreight forwarding as well as e-Commerce Consolidation services.

About Your New Role:

  • Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research.
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients and be responsible for developing relationships with current clients and acquiring new clients.
  • Will be accountable for developing and securing revenue and market share from existing customers and new business.
  • Manage and organize sales activities for sales development.
  • Ensure all RFQ (request for quotation), bids and tenders are replied to within the time specified.
  • Research and understand market trends, industry standards, and localized environments to provide accurate quotes/pricing.
  • Collaborate with operations and capacity teams to ensure complete load visibility and excellent customer service.
  • Plan personal sales activity effectively with regular contact via telephone, email and face to face communication.

Criteria To Meet:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development in Airfreight/Air Express industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A true commercial thinker, tenacious attitude and drive to succeed.
  • A professional who can win business on service and not price.
  • Have an entrepreneurial edge to enhance the sales process to win business when opportunities are recognised and to justifiably adapt the sales process to win new business.
  • Possess a sense of urgency in all matters, especially concerning problem resolution and prevention.
  • Has the ability to be a self-starter, build own sales pipeline as well as manage customer accounts and relationships.
