Responsibilities:
Market Research and Business Development Planning
- Research and analyze industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest.
- Develop strategic plans to develop the identified market opportunities, including developing forecasting, budgets and implementation plans for projects.
- Present and validate opportunities / plans with senior management to refine and garner organizational support.
Opportunity and Account Management
- Pursue identified opportunities by establishing contact with target / potential partner, marketing the value proposition, and working directly to develop and execute a mutually beneficial partnership model.
- Continue to develop the relationship and have medium to long-range plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with the defined group of partners.
- Coordinate internal departments to resolve problems and ensuring partners receive high quality customer service to refine and improve their business model and partnership with Knauf.
- Help in the roll out of industry campaigns by partners, driving partners to create their own marketing campaigns and mentoring partners’ sales / marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
- 3-4 years in a business development role or capacity.
- High commercial awareness and strategic mindset.
- Strong communication skills and networking ability.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia
