Class Teacher

Reports to Principal

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To prepare day-to-day activities and programs for the children.
To plan the curriculum
To identify the needs of the children
To teach the children.
To assess each child’s progress
To meet and discuss with the parents on the child’s progress.
To plan the school’s activities and curriculum with other teachers.
To organize together with the Principal on the field trips for students.
To retain the no. of students.
To attend the trainings organized by CeLT.
To take part in events organized by the school.
Assist in cooking and food preparation for the children.
To ensure the children’s are supervised at all times.
To provide adequate equipment and activities
To ensure the equipment and facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times.
To ensure the environment is safe and secure at all time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum requirement of Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
Essential communication skills both oral and written in English and Mandarin. ( is only applicable for Mandarin Teacher)
At least 3 years experience in Early Childhood Education
Computer literate
