- Prepare and responsible for monthly management reporting to all stakeholders including the Group, Executive Management Committee and Board of Directors
- Analyze Company’s current performances against budget and prior years. This includes analyzing actuarial information and relate it to the finance records to provide holistic analysis of company’s overall performance.
- Manages reporting timeline to ensure the management reporting is submitted on time. This includes communicate the timeline effectively within the team and to other teams/departments.
- Review management reports prepared by the team. Provide guidance to the team as well as other department stakeholders based on the reported financial results.
- Key member of annual budgeting exercise. This includes consolidating budget results from various departments, seeking clarification on deviation, reviewing and challenging plans submitted by department heads and analyzing cash flow projection performed by actuary department.
- Prepare and accountable for tax related submission which includes annual corporate tax returns, SST, WHT, CRS/FATCA, etc.
- Performs data analytics works on policy information to support team lead/financial controller (FC)/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to make business and operational decisions when necessary.
- Provide guidance to team members pertaining to management reporting aspect from time-to-time.
- Other assignment/research as requested by Team Lead/Financial Controller/Chief Financial Officer.
