Manager (Corporate and Employee Benefits Operations Manager)

Location : Petaling Jaya

Salary up to : RM10,000.00

Responsibility:

  • Develop and prepare departmental strategy(s) to support company strategy.
  • Combine business rules, policies, processes, and resources (human and otherwise) to achieve departmental strategy.
  • Design, review business rules and implement processes and to have such documented in an appropriate manner.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement the budget and monitor and control the approved budget for the department
  • Actively seek opportunities for improvement in business rules, systems, and processes.
  • Implement and execute on decisions on business rules, systems, and processes.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient service within SLA’s
  • Take ownership of individual client data and implementing support strategies to maintain and utilize data.
  • Ensure Compliance with BNM, LIAM, statutory bodies, Company Guidelines, Service Level Standards and Client Charter.
  • Maintain and manage departmental governance registers such as Risk and Compliance Registers, Audit Registers, complaints register etc.
  • Actively involved in SDLC of the departmental projects for new implementations/change requests and Defect issue management and ensure that allocated tasks are timely/efficiently and effectively completed.
  • Collaborate among the sales teams and other departments to ensure efficient and smooth operational deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the external service providers that involves in the operational processes with appropriate communications to ensure efficient and smooth operational deliveries.
  • Exercise leadership, guide, coach and motivate staff to achieve individuals’ potential and strategic and operational objectives
  • Undertake any other task assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum Degree of relevant discipline / Diploma with minimum 4 years’ experience in Corporate Operations in a problem-solving position.
  • Familiar with BNM, LIAM and other statutory and supervisory bodies policies and guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong customers handling skill, Interpersonal, collaboration, management skills, good presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledgeable in insurance products and services.
  • Ability to understand, appreciate and maximize utilization of IT and digital technologies.
  • Understanding Strategic Management, Sales and Service and Human Relationship.
  • Comply with PDPA, TCF, AMLA including compliance to BNM, LIAM and various Guidelines applicable.
