Restaurant General Manager

Office Location: Kuala Lumpur

Reporting to: Head of F&B Business

Pays up to RM12,000 basic salary

Size of restaurant:

Max. 240 seating, full day operation

Pork-free, non-halal

Your role:

The leader of the restaurant, to lead and manage the restaurant’s day-to-day operation and its P&L.

  • Work closely with the Group HR in the planning and recruitment the restaurant staffs
  • Overseeing food quality, menu development and updating
  • Manage regular/superior guests/corporate events
  • Manage and lead departmental supervisors and managers to ensure high-level performance and smooth restaurant operation
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Monitor and recommend corrective actions and process improvement plans
  • Implement or recommend innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
  • Work closely with the group’s multi-departments to roll out programs and events in the restaurant

Requirement:

  • At least 3-5 years’ of premium/concept dining restaurant operations experience at a restaurant leader capacity
  • Proven leadership skills and people management skills
  • Excellent Customer Service management skills
  • Extensive food and wine knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Experience in managing finance and P&L of restaurants
  • Experience in vendor and supplier management
