About your new employer:
Our client is an investment holding company in Malaysia. It has a diverse portfolio of businesses with investments in various industries, including telecommunications, media, power generation, oil and gas, gaming, and real estate.
Your New Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop audit programs based on risk and control evaluations.
• Perform IT, financial, and operational audits within budget.
• Develop accurate and complete audit work papers and flow charts to support findings and work performed.
• Develop recommendations to address control weaknesses and improve efficiency, and get management buy-in.
• Conduct closing meetings and report audit results to management.
• Review effectiveness of risk management processes and governance activities.
• Assist management in system studies, investigations, and special projects to improve operations.
• Lead audit assignments, oversee work distribution and completion, and provide guidance to team members.
Criteria to meet:
• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or relevant disciplines.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CISA, or CIA and/or experience in data analytics and project management would be a strong advantage to your application.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Have strong analytical & interpersonal skills.
