Unit Head, Group Reporting

1. Annual budget exercise.

2. Regular analysis and alert for action on variances, anomalies, inefficiencies

3. Reporting

a. To oversee the monthly business scorecard calculations, including Value of New Business;

b. To oversee Embedded Value (EV) calculations;

c. To oversee the assessments and quantifications under the analysis of change in EV.

4. Credibility, accuracy and adequacy process control of model

a. To ensure the accuracy of the model(s) used for calculating the reporting results;

b. To maintain control and documentation over the models.

5. Governance

a. To ensure compliance with regulatory framework and requirements;

b. To ensure adherence to group reporting standards;

c. To ensure adherence to the Company’s risk appetite

6. Business Strategy and Digital Transformation

a. To provide technical support and provide input required for decision making.

b. To provide opinions/support to other teams that may aid strategy planning.

Requirements

Good exam progress from an international recognized actuarial association
At least 5 years of working experience in a related role, preferably experience in act
Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
Actuarial reporting & statistics.
